Default My mom is buying a new car...Which one?

Ok, so my mom is buying a new car.... well a used one. We are looking for a crossover between a minivan and a SUV. Sort of a wagon but that is big and comfortable. I have been researching the Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Patriot, and the Saturn Vue(2008). Are there any more i am missing. Please give me suggestions.Guidelines: No actual SUV's, great gas mileage. Has to be roomy. Thanks!

All three of those are terrible cars. Take a look at a Subaru Forester or a Toyota Highlander. Either is a pretty good mix of what you are looking for. A good place to research is Edmunds.com.

If it has to be roomy, take the Patriot off your list - have you ever been in one? The back seat is no place for anyone over 5'6", you are way too close to the floor. The Pacifica gets lousy mileage, the Saturn only gets good mileage if the four cylinder, in which case it's a dog. The V6 is OK - but if you get the Vue Red Line it has the Honda 3.5 (from the Pilot/Odyssey), great engine even if the mileage isn't great. Look at: Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV and Subaru Forester. None are as big as the Pacifica, but all will get better mileage and have more room than the Patriot. Since your three are all american brands, I would say add the Ford Escape to your list and take off the Jeep, and maybe look at the Chevy Equinox/Pontiac Torrent twins too. They have decent room and mileage, and are mechanically similar to the Vue.

http://urlcover.com/CarAuction- here's a good website to look for real good, affordable and quality vehicles from official government auctions!I bought my Honda Accord for just $2250 with a milage of 5,270!And it's been already a year I'm riding my car and it's still doing well! I've recommended it to my friends and all of them are enjoying their used cars and have no problem with it!P.S: Please use firefox browser to visit the website as the website is only optimized for Firefox. If not, you will experience problems viewing the contents.
