Audi A6 Flasher Relay?

Hi I just replaced my Hazard/Flasher Relay on my 2001 Audi A6. It was making weird noises and the turn signals were not working. Now after I had replaced it. The turn signal/hazard is working but when not in use it makes that same weird noise. Can someone please help me on this issue. Thanks

Sounds like the relay is getting a wrong signal from the turn signal stalk. This isn't very common but I have seem it a few times before. Make sure you used the correct relay for your car. There are two or three different relays for these cars. They will all fit into the car but there are different pin coding's used for these. Check with a dealer and have him look up the correct part for your car by VIN and double check the part number. You may be looking into needing a new wiper switch though.
